The Midwest has been in a drought since the spring and the ponds and creeks are drying up. During the early Season scouting for Whitetails Kyle Barefield located a pond with some thick cover around it that had a very big 12 point using it to water. A couple months later during the rut Kyle went back to that area with the pond and found the big buck was the dominant buck in the area and still using the pond to water and chase does. After setting up a spot to hunt nearby it all comes together one afternoon with a Browning X Bolt 6.8 Western in his hand.
