I took a trip down to North Carolina to Rifle Hunt during the early part of the Rut with my Dad and Grandfather, this was a trip that I was looking forward too since my Dad brought it up right after my daughter was born in February of 2023, right after the Great American outdoor show! My expectation going into this trip were not high, the outfitter we were going through did not have any up to date pictures of information on social media so I was just hoping to get a doe and bring home some meat. The first day did not disappoint, it was going to be hot the first day, 78 degrees but we had a gameplan to hunt the morning and the evening! The rest is history! First out of state harvest was nothing short of Memorable, to have my Dad and Grandfather there was the mental reset I needed!
