Last week I caught a USFS DHC-2 Beaver doing touch and goes at my neighborhood airport in northeast Minnesota, so like any reasonable fan of this legendary radial engine bush plane, I shot some video of it with my iPhone. I hope you all can appreciate the beauty of a Beaver on wheels landing in a crosswind and the talented pilot at the controls. The US Forest Service operates a small fleet of de Havilland Beavers from their Superior National Forest base on Shagawa Lake in Ely, Minnesota. While they spend the summer months on floats, in winter they return to wheels and skis to patrol the frozen north. Read more about the program here: https://bck.pt/beaver
