Last week I caught a USFS DHC-2 Beaver doing touch and goes at my neighborhood airport in northeast Minnesota, so like any reasonable fan of this legendary radial engine bush plane, I shot some video of it with my iPhone. I hope you all can appreciate the beauty of a Beaver on wheels landing in a crosswind and the talented pilot at the controls.
The US Forest Service operates a small fleet of de Havilland Beavers from their Superior National Forest base on Shagawa Lake in Ely, Minnesota.
