Rachel Hogan, by all indications, was destined to be a future field trialing national champion. She was a 19-year-old girl atop of her game. Her dog, an English Springer spaniel, had made amateur field champion, had competed in the nationals, and she was starting to get some name recognition and momentum. People were starting to take notice when everything changed. Through her love for the outdoors, Rachel contracted Lyme disease which put her in a wheelchair for 2 years. Hunting was still in her blood and so in order to make herself healthy, she wanted to eat the cleanest meat she could. She took it one step further and is now an Executive Chef providing exquisite meals from her and her clients harvest. Hunting has come full circle for Rachel - to one of providing clean, natural, healthy food for herself and for friends, clients, and family.
