Most men in this world have been shaped by our fathers. Our fathers embedded in us values. Those values represent the person we are today, have shaped us into the fathers we are today. Those values also equate to our ethics - how we treat the land when no-one is watching, how we conduct ourselves amongst our peers, and within our community. Jake's father's did exactly that for him. Though he is no longer with him, Jake carries those values within him and walks those ethics as if his father was looking over his shoulder even today. Fathers and sons have incredible bonds, and even in death they perpetuate. These ethics are who we are as hunters, as outdoorsman, and any misstep opens the doors for those that will choose to see hunting disappear. We must all watch our step.
