It's time to start preparing our DC-6 to go down the road! We had to get this 105' long and 117' wide airplane down to a trailer-sized load (or lots of loads). Our goal is to get the fuselage cut down to be 10'6" wide and 100' long. The wings will unbolt into three pieces each (wing tip, outboard section, and inboard section). The inboard sections with the landing gear have to be cut from the fuselage rather than unbolted.
