Duck hunting in Canada offers some of the finest experiences for any waterfowl hunter. Food is plentiful and ducks are typically abundant, but not always. The delayed migration of 2015 left us with a small concentration of ducks hopping from small pond to small pond. The warm weather wasn't forcing them to feed in the grain fields and every pond had just a handful of ducks on them. We could hunt one of those ponds, but the opportunity for success would be limited. Our only option was to setup under a well-used flight line and try to draw the ducks to us.
