After ideal snow goose hunting weather to kick off the 2015 conservation season, we knew this year would be tougher. A warmup the week before the 2016 season started forced a lot snow geese north early. This combined with a fewer wheat fields made for more of a challenge to our snow goose hunting in Arkansas. We were able to find and gain access to a good feed on one of the few wheat fields in the area. It was setup up nicely with a thin, weed filled drainage ditch that extended into the middle of the field. The weather the day of the hunt was less than ideal with a low cloud deck and very little wind, but we ended up having a good hunt!
