Cory is one of those guys that everyone looks up to, enjoys having around, is loyal, and a type of father figure to younger guys. He spent 21 years in the Army working with all things aviation. He was a Black Hawk Crew Chief and avionics technician working on apaches, chinooks, and everything in between. He went on 3 combat tours, 2 in Afghanistan and 1 to Iraq. In May 2014, while serving overseas, Cory was having some medical issues and was medevac in the middle of the night to Germany. He was later diagnosed with a severe case of Parkinson’s disease. He’s had 6 major surgeries since 2015 but that hasn’t stopped him from enjoying the outdoors. Cory still hunts every fall and loves going fishing. One of his close friends Travis says Cory hunts more than he does now. We had the pleasure of taking Cory on a whitetail in Missouri a few years ago. It was a hunt of a lifetime!
