FIRST ELK! AZ YOUTH HUNT 2021!!!

What an epic hunt with my daughter! Opening day we set out on my daughter's youth cow elk hunt to try to get her a cow. It was extremely windy and I knew these elk would be out of the wind. We did spot and stock through the woods trying to locate a cow for her. We finally located some elk and it all happened fast. Not the most ideal shot for a youth hunter but she pulled it off like no big thing and made a perfect shot. This was her fist big game animal hunt as she just turned 10 in September. There is nothing better than seeing your kids succeed and the emotions that follow. Proud dad moment and memories for life!
