A Coues deer hunt for my dad turned into a lion hunt real fast. Watch as I glass up a mountain lion first thing in the morning and drop to a pack to make a shot on this cat at almost 500 yards. It gets crazy when we walk up to the tree and find out that the lion is still alive. There's a reason these cougars are called the ghost cat and the mountain screamer. They are an elusive panther with a feisty nature and it is a rush to find one in the wild! What a dream come true to harvest one of these magnificent animals. To share this moment with my father (age 63) by my side, was a special moment in our hunting careers. Memories for life and an epic hunt, no doubt!
