Sandhill Crane; the ribeye of the sky! I love hunting these birds and honestly, I think they're the best tasting game bird out there. This hunt took me several years to draw here in Arizona, but it was worth the wait! What a blast getting to experience it with Eddie and my Father-in-Law, Russ. It's getting harder to gain access from the local farmers to hunt, due to unethical hunters not being respectful of their land. So, I highly recommend you do your due diligence folks. And if you ARE allowed the opportunity to hunt someone's farmland, be sure to clean up after yourselves so this kind of hunting can continue to happen for future generations. Thank you all for your support! This hunt was such a thrill and I'm looking forward to another Arizona crane hunt in the future.
