What an unbelievable snow goose hunt in New Mexico!!! We slammed 119 snows in just a day and a half, and our buddy Jim nabbed a prize banded lesser snow goose from out of Alaska. What an epic hunt with the boys! Nate and I both harvested two beautiful blue geese for the wall, too. We froze our butts off - but would do it again in a heartbeat. This was a conservation hunt to decrease and manage the number of snow geese which have skyrocketed over the years. Doing what hunters do best to help curb the negative impact and amount of damage these geese can do on farm vegetation and northern tundra. It's important to keep their numbers in check and as hunters we can help limit their total impact on the environment. Special thanks to Jim for the invite out.
