As a father I couldn't be prouder of my son Kyden. His first ever big game hunt and an epic one at that. 3 generations present! Watch as my son harvests his first mule deer buck right alongside his grandfather Russell who slammed the biggest buck of his life (doubled down). We located some bucks early opening day and put them to bed. Later that afternoon we started our hike to get in position for the evening hunt. Things happened fast when we topped over the hill to find one of the bucks staring us down. My son made a perfect 418-yard shot and killed his first deer. A stud 3x3! With the two other bucks still in range we got my Father In-Law behind the gun. Russ shoots and the buck drops - a beautiful 4x5! A once in a lifetime double down here on public land in Arizona. Words can't describe how amazing this hunt was. My son did great, pushing himself as we hiked through rugged terrain and canyons. He also found several shed antlers and a dead head to top it all off. It was quite the pack out that night, but we pushed hard and got it done. He's learning fast and enjoys the great outdoors. Always game for hunting, camping and pushing into that backcountry with me. I can't wait for more HUNTERFUEL, Jr hunts to come. All praise and glory to God! Freezers are full of fresh meat for the family.
