We are still after them down south in Alabama. After an awesome opening day we head back to the same bottom in hopes to find another longbeard in a different spot. We don't get too far from the truck and decide to try and locate a bird using an owl hoot. To our surprise one gobbles on the first shot. We slip into the cypress bottom to close the distance. This bird is gobbling good on the limb but he doesn't want to leave. Eventually, after sitting on the roost long after sunrise he flies down and works into range of the Mossberg .410. Brett gives some pointers on the deadliest turkey call to fool a stubborn tom. The SA 410 claims it's first bird of the year and we have an Alabama turkey hunt we won't soon forget!
