Join me for an amazing accomplishment in the deer hunting world; harvesting a 12 point Illinois buck with a .44 magnum revolver! This was a 2017 hunt on our Southern Illinois farm homestead and I was hunting in one of my fall food plot blends from a Banks tower blind that had not been hunted yet that season. We had 3 different 10 point mainframe bucks around that season, and I was after the biggest one. It was shotgun season in Illinois and large caliber pistols were also legal to use. Join me for the action and experience and see if I made the right call on this deer or not. Either way it was great to get this on film and another life accomplishment.
