This was a very cool and exciting life adventure! Join us in the field for a family friendly and fun life adventure down here in Southern Illinios as we take a first look at the 291 acre Southern Illinois property that we are purchasing, mostly sight unseen! Today will be a fun family adventure as my son Alan and his girlfriend Kelly are in visiting from Vermont, so it is a very special outdoor adventure! Today we'll be taking out my 2022 Polaris Ranger XP1000 Northstar Ultimate to explore this severely overgrown property, and we will be putting a bunch of new scratches and gouges in the Polaris Northstar Ultimate! But after all, it is mostly a work machine for us, so I have no doubt it will perform admirably today! So we'll be meeting my buddy Curtis Rogers, from Midwest Farm & Land out at the 291, as he will also be doing a showing of a potential 20 to 30 acre piece of this 291 acre investment property. During our explorations today we'll find a bonus pond hidden deep in the woods, a beautiful creek that runs through the property, some fantastic ridges, cedar thickets, hardwoods, and TONS of deer sign! Most of the trail is so overgrown that we'll need a chainsaw to open areas of the old trail, but it is so overgrown that the Polaris Northstar Ultimate will acquire a bunch of new scratches and damages from the ride! Our overall plan for this Project 291 will be revealed later on in the series, but it is an investment property and the goal is to make some income, by using our bobcat e42 r2 series mini excavator, out bobcat T650 CTL skid steer and Kioti tractor to make the improvements that neglected property needs in order to sell it. We'll be making a new road system, some camper/cabin site clearings, food plot clearings, some watering ponds and other machine work to improve it to a near turn key, beautiful Southern Illinois deer hunting or recreation property.
