On this week’s episode, the team gears up for the opening day of the 2023 Iowa bow season. To kick things off, we join Josh Sparks in Central Iowa as he assembles a Redneck hay bale blind to hunt two giant permission farm bucks. Next, we head to Ohio with Kaleb Greiner who takes advantage of an early season bowhunting opportunity due to the area’s CWD zone regulations. Returning to Iowa after two days of action packed hunts, Kaleb dives into his favorite early season bowhunting strategies and discusses his plan for hunting in the coming days. After that, we join Owen Reigler in Southern Iowa who also takes us through a few of his early season hunting strategies and discusses his preliminary plan to hunt the giant buck he calls “Lochness.” Lastly, Mike Reed discusses a few of his favorite strategies for hunting this time of year and then takes us along for a youth season hunt with his daughter Brynn. Setting out hoping that Brynn can harvest her first buck ever, the Reed family returns to the proven bottom turnip plot at the Home Farm hoping to lay eyes on multiple targets frequenting the plot in daylight.
