On this week's episode of Midwest Whitetail, we kick things off with Mike Reed who wastes no time getting back out to the River Farm following the close of Iowa's deer season. With the goal of keeping tabs on the deer herd and also providing them with excellent nutrition moving forward into the coldest months of the year, Mike gets his Ax One Complete Feed from our good friends at @axoutdoors7116 out on multiple locations on the farm and discusses the benefit that the product can yield for you. From there, we join Justin Karns who takes us along for the journey of his epic 2024 deer season with partner in crime Drake Lamb. Together, the duo logged big buck encounter after big buck encounter that included a once in a lifetime close range sighting of an Iowa monarch locked down with a doe and a giant up and comer on Justin's treasured home farm. Utilizing one of many food plots implemented at the home farm, the encounter encapsulated years of hard work improving the ground his family calls home. Down to the final days of season, the guys pushed forward and showed that the grind always pays off with Justin tagging a great buck and rounding out an incredible 2024 deer hunting journey.
