Here's a favorite shrimp dish. It's New Orleans BBQ Shrimp. This isn't shrimp on the grill...it's a delicious, rich shrimp recipe that features mushrooms, onions, wonderful spices with a touch of heat and fresh shrimp. This is also a 'one-pot' meal, with everything prepared and served in a dutch oven. Ingredients are simple, but tasty. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to do the prep work, then let marinade in the fridge for an hour or so. Slip it in the oven for about 20 to 30 minutes, depending on how big the pot is and how much you're making. The recipe will feed about 6 or 8 folks, and you can cut everything in half, if you're doing this for fewer people. But you'll want to do the full recipe, because the leftovers are awesome too.
Serve it up with some crusty french bread and you've found BBQ Shrimp Nirvana!
