When gamefish are schooling, they are usually zoned-in on schools of baitfish. So naturally, a perfect bait to pitch would look like a school of bait. The Project-X X-Rig does exactly that. With five adjustable arms, you can create a cone-shaped school, a horizontal-shaped school and many other options. You can catch the X-Rig to the schools and adjust the depth based on retrieve speed. It's also an excellent search tool. Troll the X-Rig like you would a typical umbrella rig, the speed of the boat and amount of line you have out (along with the weight of the jigs) will determine the depth. Don't forget to take this to the salt, because Spanish Mackerel, Redfish, Jacks and many other species will attack this lure with a passion!
