Maintaining a healthy and vibrant fishery in our lakes and impoundments means careful management of the resource. Wildlife biologists from the Department of Natural Resources constantly study and record data on fish populations in our lakes. This data factors in to the number of stocked fish these lakes receive each year, and also alerts researchers to any issues, disease or other factors that can adversely affect the fishery. Capt. Cefus McRae and Capt. Mack Farr join GA DNR as they 'shock' the lake to check on the fishery.
