Buckle up, folks—it's the grand finale of Gun Deer Camp, where the shenanigans run rampant. In this episode, we’re doing things the "Okayest" way: setting up stands in the thickest, hardest-to-reach spots, because why make hunting easy when you can sweat a little?
Eric, Joel, Mike, and Clay, who you might have heard guest on our annual gun deer camp podcast debut on camera, swapping stories, scraping deer spots, and debating if anyone’s gonna leave the woods for the Packers game (spoiler: no one cares about the Packers today). With a few fresh rubs and a lot of optimism, the crew's ready for some deer action—maybe this is the year someone tags out... but we're not holding our breath.
The camaraderie runs deep with this group. Why do these guys keep coming back year after year? It’s either the love of the hunt or the need to escape their day jobs. Whatever the reason, they’re here to make sure that even if no deer hit the dirt, there are plenty of good times, laughter, and a few disgusting shots of Malort.
So grab a cold brew and get ready for the Okayest adventure. Here's to the smallest 8-pointer in the forest and a few good stories to tell around the campfire.
Enjoy the show, and remember—if it was easy, it wouldn't be Okayest.
