NSSF hosted the Governors’ Forum the 2022 SHOT Show where several governors came to speak about the importance, efforts and benefits of attracting firearm and ammunition-related businesses to their states. The six governors who attended were Gov. Mike Dunleavy (R-Alaska), Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R-Arkansas), Gov. Brian Kemp (R-Georgia), Gov. Pete Ricketts (R-Nebraska), Gov. Kristi Noem (R-South Dakota), Gov. Mark Gordon (R-Wyoming) and was hosted by NSSF’s Larry Keane. “This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from several governors of the importance of the firearm industry to their state,” Keane said. “NSSF has hosted governors in previous shows, but we wanted to be able to give each of the governors an opportunity to talk about why they want to bring this growing and vibrant industry to their states.”
