BIG GEMSBOK with a BOW! (Bowhunting South Africa)

Welcome back to another episode from our Bowhunting Africa Series! In the last episode, Seth is going after Gemsbok with his bow. We setup on a water hole that we knew gemsbok would frequent. After a few hours two gemsbok made their way into the water and a mature male gemsbok presented Seth with a shot! The shot was looked perfect with a Sirius archery products gemini and Tuffhead broadhead. When we started tracking the gemsbok we realized something was wrong. The animal should've went down in sight but we couldn't find a thing. After nearly ten hours of tracking and several miles of walking from numerous trackers we came to the conclusion that the animal was still on his feet. This hunt was the ultimate heartbreaker, Seth has been after a gemsbok for years and we thought it had finally happened. The story doesn't end here. In this episode we are back after gemsbok and they're still coming in to the same waterhole. Seth has another opportunity to finally get a gemsbok!
