After my trip to Kansas I had one more tag to fill. The buzz was getting out a little bit that I had killed 3 bucks in 8 days and all I was thinking was that I had one more tag in my pocket in Illinois. Javin and I got back to Illinois and hunted my farm for a day but I did not have much on camera on my new farm that I was wanting to shoot. The lord works in mysterious ways because as we were wondering what we should do I got a call from one of my contacts at Novix Treestands, Caleb. Caleb had a buddy, Ryan, that had a proposition for me, He had a massive, old ghost buck on his property that him and the neighbor had been seeing for years but could never close the deal on him. In fact, most of the time he was only seen at night on trail camera. The deer was nicknamed Scissors. Ryan said I could come try to kill this buck they called Scissors and ifI killed him all he wanted was a free land consultation on his property. This guy was setting his pride aside to try and learn something even more on his property and was going to allow me to come hunt this deer. I am not going to lie this was a challenge like no other. I had never stepped foot on this farm a day in my life and to kill this deer that Ryan and his neighbors were trying to kill for so long would be something pretty special. It was a challenge I was very excited and honored to accept and the story is unbelievable. It's finally here! The story of Scissors!
